JOB SUMMARY
The Finance Intern will support the Finance team in day-to-day accounting and financial activities, gaining hands-on experience in financial administration within a growing company. Reporting to the Finance Senior Accountant, the Finance Intern will assist with billing, transactions, reporting, reconciliations, and other finance-related tasks, learning essential skills for a future career in finance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Accounting Support
Assist in managing daily accounting operations, including data entry and basic transaction processing.
Help verify, allocate, post, and reconcile transactions under supervision.
Assist with reconciliations and preparation of simple account analyses.
Procurement and Payments
Organize and file invoices, orders, proof of payments, contracts, and other financial documents.
Help with procurement process.
Financial Documentation and Organization
Support the team in justifying R&D expenses.
Collect minutes and other agreements and keep them up to date.
Collect receipts for personnel expenses for subsequent reimbursements.
Reporting Assistance
Support the preparation of internal financial reports and summaries.
Assist with expense reports for corporate cards
Help gather information for external partners, including auditors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders.
Support any specific request from our management team.
QUALIFICATIONS
Currently studying a Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, Accounting, Administration
Economics, or a related field
Experience not required but desirable
Basic knowledge of accounting principles, Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Business proficiency in English and Spanish (verbal and written)
Requirement: Possibility to sign an internship agreement with your academic institution
